My Friends and Fellow Survivors:

“Obsessive Compulsive Disorder” is dastardly little bugger. It runs from what some people might call being “anal compulsive” to “the counters” to those where there are triggers that make them unable to function.

In some cases the causes are psychological, others are physiological and others have not-so-finely defined roots.

Some of the manifestations are what one might be called “anal compulsive” where certain things must be done in a certain order or once a task is started it must be seen to perfect completion.

Those on the next step on the ladder are the “counters.” They lock a door and then have to check it, say, five times and counting out loud to that number while checking the lock. Some set arbitrarily higher numbers, say, twenty-five, and count to that number. Now, if they think they miss a number they have to start from one again.

In some cases, the counting is a prelude to more severe actions as they will use higher and higher numbers almost to force themselves to doubt that they reached that preordained number without missing one. In such a case, they will start from one again and count until they are satisfied.

Then there are the “cleaners.”   The cleaners are not so much “clean” and in fact rarely “neat” but the item or environment must be clean of dirt, disease, microbes and so on. Often times this is part of a larger issue. Other times it is a ritual because the person feels “dirty” about something be it physical or of some actions or even thoughts. In the later cases, they think the ritual cleaning will “cleanse” them of their bad, evil or dirty deeds or thoughts.

But then there are the extreme cases. These are people who have an irrational fear about something and when faced with it can render them paralytic with fear and dread.

Often times the trigger is something which can be very reasonably explained away but the victim refuses to accept any explanations. In all many cases when a person in is this state they know what they are doing is irrational but that dread, that fear, that has a hold on them transcends any cogent and rational explanation.

They will often try to “trick” themselves to allow them to be convinced there is nothing irrational about their irrational actions by creating such an elaborate scenario that it becomes like the “counter.” Sure, you can explain this, that and the other thing but now there is X and you cannot explain that away. When you finally do, there is Y and so on and so forth.

For instance: A person “develops” a sudden fear of, let’s pick a manufactured crisis but a real thing nonetheless, Ebola. Now, this person decides that Ebola exists and he has to do everything in his power to make sure he does not get it. Of course EVERYONE else in the town, city, state and Country are at the same risk. And, of course, this person knows that but he focuses on Ebola as his pretend bête noire.

Now, this person can go hours, days, weeks, even longer until a trigger occurs to set them off. (Of course, if it goes too long, the victim will introduce another aspect, condition or something that will hasten the trigger so they can slide into the distress and panic of “getting Ebola.”

So, if someone sneezes, there you go, Ebola. Yup.   Ebola is in the air and believing they are exposed, the person might have to run home, take a shower, clean or throw away their clothes, disinfect everything with which he came into contact in the house.

OK, so someone spends a great deal of time to explain to that person that he cannot get Ebola just because someone on the street a block away sneezed.

The victim accepts this and has to come up with something else.   So, their attention and focus is on Africa. While a bit of a stretch, if the person goes shopping and sees an item that was made in any place in Africa, the victim might convince himself that the rug, shawl, fez or whatever has sufficient time in Africa to be exposed to Ebola and any contact would infect them on the spot!

Oddly enough, the victim is drawn to primitive arts classes, shows, expositions or whatever where they are subconsciously drawn to the thing that they think will destroy them.

With very little education one can prolly talk a normal person out of this line of irrationality. But these people we are discussing have a severe mental issue. These people are not necessarily stupid or dim, they are afflicted with a disease and they can be reasoned with on a logical basis and depending on their state of mind at the time they will accept reasonable explanations. Unless the psychosis is deeper in their mind where any amount of rational thought is dismissed.

But now, there is nothing triggering their anxiety and that is even worse than having a trigger. The victim is irrationally convinced that something terrible is going to happen to them and that anxiety is exacerbated by the fact that now it is something unknown that is going to kill them or their loved ones. That will never do!

They are in a mentally deficient state but they know enough that if there is not physical thing that they can say “See, that has Ebola!” then anything can and will set them off. They know that they are acting irrationally but they would prefer not to be bedridden in a bath of Lysol 24/7. So, they create another trigger.

As long as there is a trigger, or an (un)reasonable facsimile, they can live a “normal” life. Even though “normal” to them might be having daily episodes of paralytic anxiety.

It goes on and on.

While there are drugs and therapy that is available it is still a debilitating disease. The victim typically cannot hold a job. Well, if they live alone they may be forced to but if there is someone to take care of them they will panic themselves out of the workforce.

New relationships and friendships are usually rare for the more extreme cases. Sadder still is that the victim oftentimes will, by design or circumstance, create a distance between themselves and most of their loved ones.   (They will always make sure they have one ally to take care of them be it a spouse, parent or barring them, a friend.)

This is not a dissertation on this disease. This is to prove that Liberalism is a mental disease.

You can take out “Ebola” and insert “global warming” or “weapons of mass destruction” or “path to citizenship” and you will get the same response from a Lib that you will get from an OCD victim.

You will get an irrational explanation of the indefensible. For instance, the weather here in the Northeast has been horrendous. The weather prognosticators are all over the map with respect to temperature, snowfall, wind or anything else. These nice folks are pouring over tons of data 24/7 and STILL they miss the mark.

Yet, we are supposed to suspend belief that these same folks who cannot accurately predict the weather tomorrow somehow can predict what the climate is going to be in five, ten, twenty years? Really?   And I am crazy for not agreeing with them?

Here is one of those silly Liberal things, the back and forth persiflage with ordinarily normal people who when faced with a way out of their conundrum, throw another obstacle in the way.

One friend posted a link from some left-wing-nut site that read: “So car companies have to pay workers less to stay globally competitive?” Then there is a picture of a VW Minibus with the following “Germany produces twice as many cars as the US while paying its workers twice as much.”

Midnight the Wonder Dog shook his head when I read that to him!

You see, if ANYONE with a modicum of common sense, of any idea of anything to do with cars or wages, or had an interwebs to look up things, looked at that they would cry “Foul!” Or worse.

Yet, there are those who see something like this, it hits their “trigger” and they are forced to expose their ignorance.

Here is my back and forth:

Number 1: 2013 US Auto production: 11,045,902. Germany: 5,718,222. So, how does that work? Number 2: just like all the other socialist countries in Europe who “are paid more than the US” are also the countries who pay more in taxes than the United States. Ergo irrespective of wages/taxes, by disposable income the US is #1, Germany was #11. Old Friend, the problem with agenda driven links is that there are no facts to support their claims and tons of data to disprove them. That DOES explain a lot, however…

OLD CHUM:

John, for once your facts correlate with the real issue…. are we happy. We come in at rank 17 while Germany only comes in at 26. So we are, according to the World Happiness report (http://unsdsn.org/…/02/WorldHappinessReport2013_online.pdf) ,happier than the less productive Germans. But we are not nearly as happy as the residents of Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, Finland, Austria, Iceland, and Australia, to name a few. So the higher pay and higher taxes of Denmark may make it the happiest country in the world. Now we don’t necessarily have to be the happiest country in the world, but perhaps we should emulate their model of paying everyone better for their work and taxing everyone to provide a higher quality of life for everyone. Hmmm………

PRECIOUS:

Old pal. My facts are always correct and accurate, of course, one might choose other sources for data, but the number of cars made is a solid number, ditto who pays what in taxes the percentage of disposable income and average shoe size of mesomorphic males under 1.8 meters tall. These are all quantitative, a “happiness report” is hardly. First off, I eat breathe and sweat this stuff, not that you do not. But I am always suspect at any kind of thing like this, irrespective of the author, because it conflates qualitative with quantitative with objective and subjective. I have been to most of the countries on that list and there is no way I give it one bit of credence. I could take those same statistics and come up with any result I wished. As soon as I see the Useless Nations, Gallup, et al, you should, at least I am, be suspicious as the results will fit the desired outcome. I do appreciate the “compliment” and I harbor no ill to you and/or Old Friend as I have known you both for an aggregate 75-80 years or so. We do not have to agree on politics. I can compartmentalize that and put it to the side and we can discuss slew rates and rise times, CIRC and the like. But our politics are mutually exclusive. I am loath to post or pontificate, trust me I AM holding back, but when I see something so egregiously incorrect I have to comment.

Then there is a brief interlude by someone trying to explain that the Germans make luxury cars? And I rejoin the conversation with:

One quick aside Old Chum, on your happiness chart it shows Mexico and Panama AHEAD of the US. If that is true, why are their citizens coming to the US? Just asking

I don’t have all the answers. I just want to be happy too and right now, like most Americans, I’m just making the most of things. I’m willing to look at a better way and nothing I’ve seen on the conservative side of things offers people at the bottom, or even me, much hope. And I’m not even near the bottom. The Scandinavian countries are happier than we are. The study I quoted was just an effort at factualizing it. But the sad truth is that are often used to justify totally wrong situations rather than bring us to a better place. My opinion is that the liberal side of things is more likely to bring us there.

Old Chum, with all due respect socialism does not work. I can tell you as someone who have travelled extensively particularity in the Nordic countries. There is far higher taxation, there are far less freedoms, there is the expectation that you will be exactly like your fellow proles. I assure you, it is NOT a better place. (It is beautiful, however.) Having had the exposure to that and other kinds of Socialism, I say, if that is for you, old pal, move there. Leave me alone, let me live in my deluded Constitutional Republic and let me rise and fall by my own works and NOT what a political party can “give” me. SRSLY Old Chum, conflate your rationale with the illegal aliens. They come here illegally and ignoring the fact that on your list they come from happier places, they want us to feed, clothe, heal, educate and more. Yet, they refuse to learn the lingo, won’t get along with others and have the unmitigated balls to demand that we do more for them. Old Chum, if they come from such a better, happier place, why are they risking all to come to America? If America sucks as much as you and the rest of the Left would have us believe, why do they come here and better question, why are people breaking into their countries? (Old Chum, this does not mean I don’t respect you.. I respect your opinion and right to hold it. But, do consider the alternative. Peace.)

My Friends and Fellow Non-Tourists:

Er, yeah, the Constitution and all.  A tricky thing it is.

The Constitution, the law of the land, applies to all who happen to be in our great Country.  Rich, poor, black, White, Liberal, Conservative, legal, ILLEGAL or any other possible permutation of person.

So, if you are fifteenth generation American and can trace your roots to before the American Revolution or if you are some terrorist who slipped into our Country illegally, all have the same rights and protections afforded by the law of the land.

In case anyone cares I am not OK with that.   I sometimes think this this Maladministration is not OK with that either.

(Of course when we seem to be in the same page as Biff & Co. if we are, we are for the wrong reasons or, in a totally different book.  In the eyes of this Maladministration if you can trace your family tree back two-hundred-odd years in America, you have been here too long.)

I am not sure if I have the answer or if there is a better one that what we now have.  What causes me distress are not the freedoms that we have but as mentioned someone comes here illegally, they have the same rights as a natural born citizen. But, how do differentiate?  Yet, that is not the question at hand.

To re-iterate, irrespective of how they arrive someone can enter our Land from some oppressive hell-hole where they have zero freedom and as if by magic have the same rights as we as soon as their feet touch land.

For those who come here legally and with the desire to add to the fabric of American Freedom, welcome!  How can I help you? Enjoy all this great Country has to offer and please pitch right in to help others!

For those who come here illegally, that is another story and we have largely discussed that in the past.

But the ones that really chap my hide, the ones I really have a hard time with are those who come here and either criticize our Country, demand that we do things the way they did it in their homeland or both.

Case in point, in the last issue was mentioned the “Long Island Jobs With Justice.”  On the list of officers, the first one emigrated from Peru and the second from Romania.  They came here, be it legally or not, from third world countries and now are raising a runkus about the way we are doing things.

I wish to advise these two “activists” that about which they are railing against would be a dream job in their homeland. I would hasten to add that the local constabulary would prolly take a dim view of their activities here if done in their home countries.

So, why is it OK that they do that here?

Now, let’s look at our friends in Dearborn, Patterson and other places.  Here are enclaves of Muslims. No big deal right? I mean there are ghettoes of all kinds all over the Country.

(And by “ghetto”, I am not being judgmental or “–ist” of any kind.  The “Free Dictionary” refers to a ghetto as a “(usually poor) section of a city inhabited primarily by people of the same race, religion or social background.”  But it is not necessarily “poor.”  For instance, one can refer to the Upper West Side of NYC as a “Liberal Ghetto” or Beverly Hills as a “Millionaires Ghetto.”)

The difference is that in the “ghettoes” with which we are most familiar, the locals are not trying to make you conform to any particular way of anything.  But the Muslim enclaves are exclusive.  They want to live like they did in their own lands, with their own customs and ways of doing things.  In some locales they have succeeded in having Sharia Law instituted as the local law.

And we allow this?

Rather, we allow Liberal politicians and judges to allow this.

As I said recently, that which we allow will continue.

(To put that in perspective, you canNOT travel to most Muslim countries and take your personal bible or prayer book, Rosary Beads or other non-Muslim religious artifacts but THEY want to come here and tell us how we should live.)

Just take a look at Europe.  There are parts of the UK and other countries which are 100% Muslim to the exclusion of anyone else.  And that is supposed to be OK?

One of the few, perhaps only, country to put up a fight over Islamification and Sharia Law is, oddly enough, France.

The only country to come in second in virtually every war in which they were involved have now picked a fight with a billion Muslims.

The French have allowed the Muslims to come to France, but as time has gone on they have put their foot down at various points. For instance there is a ban on headscarves.

Now, don’t go thinking that the French are great people for banning Muslim headscarves. Not the case at all.  Despite its long history of being a staunch Catholic country at one time, it is in fact a very secular country by law! So the banning of the hijab or other coverings is not an attack on Islam any more than their ban on Nativity Plays on schools is an attack on CHRISTianity.

But, try telling that to someone with a 6^th Century education.

(And the whole romance with CHRISTianity came to a screeching halt during the secular humanist revolt called the French Revolution where the swells who started the revolution murdered virtually every religious who did not support them.  Ergo, most of the priests, brothers and nuns were murdered, usually in very unpleasant manners.)

So while France is steadfastly sticking to their guns on public displays of religion (just like their council for maintaining the “purity” of the French language) the Religion of Pieces are using their guns to kill those who insult Islam.

(Imagine for a moment if CHRISTians were as fanatic as are the Muslims with respect to CHRISTianity?  There would be no one working at CNN, PMS/LSD or most of the cable and network news outlets and the headquarters of the TIMES and other papers would be smoldering ruins.  Just sayin’.)

France, to their credit, has as free press and speech as do we here in the good old U.S. of A.  Perhaps even more so.  The chaps at “Charlie Hebdo” were doing what all too US papers prints on their editorial pages.  They were trying to make a point (advisedly or not) through satire.  And that was not their first time at the rodeo poking fun at religion.

Think of “The Onion” here but far more caustic and nasty.  (They are French after all.)

It was an open secret that “Charlie Hebdo” was targeted by Muslims for their attempt, jejune at best, at educating the masses.  (My guess is that those who read such things tend more to the prurient rather than the Swiftian vein of satire.)

And what did the nice folks at “Charlie Hebdo”, a few cops “guarding” them and a few others?

It got them killed.

7 January 2015 will be France’s 9-11-01.

The two “alleged” shooters initially got away but were soon found and dispatched buy the local and federal police to see their 72 Virginians.

While that is going on, another swell is holding and killing hostages in a Kosher market.  He joined the Brothers Dim on the trip to their reward.

Then we hear the bride of the Kosher Killer may have been in on the planning of some parts of this slaughter.   She has since left France and allegedly has transited through Turkey to the garden spot known as Syria.  You know, where ISIS or IS or who cares, is holding court.

And now, there may be as many as another half of a dozen other cells operating in France with the same goal as the others.

If you think that will be the end of it, you are so sadly mistaken that only a Lib might accept said postulation.

On Monday it was revealed that ISIS or IS or who cares, hacked the United States Central Command’s website.  I am sure they are not looking for the names and addresses of military personal. Nor would they try to exploit that to access other military computer systems.

And I am sure it is even worse than that.

And what is Biffus Minimus doing while all this is going on? I mean since he returned from Hawaii. He has, er, er, er,….

My Friends and Fellow Blue Light Special Shoppers:

“Our biggest concern is for the hundreds of Walmart (sic) associates who are now facing possible unemployment.”

What is that all about?  And, who said that?

Well, here on Long Island there are any number of Wal-Mart stores.  In many locations they have a full grocery section in addition to flammable clothing from China, a decent pharmacy and a curious collection of home (dorm?) furnishings.

Don’t misunderestimate me, I do shop there from time to time for various items.  But, there are a number of other choices as well.

The lease on one Wal-Mart will end on 5 May, Cinco de Mayo (not a joke.)  It is in a large mall and it covers 130,000 square feet on two levels.  It is one of the largest tenants in the mall.

Wal-Mart is not going to renew the lease as there is not enough room for a full sized grocery section in addition to the dry goods and electronics. So the store will close.

Of course, there are about a handful of other Wal-Marts within a fifteen-minute or so ride from the one slated to close.  Wal-Mart has advised the employees they will have first crack at any positions at the other local Wal-Marts and those who can’t find a position will receive severance pay of one week’s pay for each year of service.

Say what you want, but Wal-Mart could have said “It has been fun! And good luck there Sparky!” But they are trying to find positions for the three-hundred current employees or give them some get-started money.  I do not know of too many (any?) other companies like this who give a severance package to, how does one say, “non-key employees.”

OK, who is the person making the runkus at the start of this missive?

Some womyn from the “Long Island Jobs With Justice” has her panties in a wad over this closing.

(The name of this group should tell it all.  They are rousers of rabble and “do-gooders” of the worst kind.  What are their major activities?  Glad you asked, let’s have a look-see at their website: “Bus Riders Public Forum”, “Mother’s Day Action Against Deportations”, “Father’s Day Vigil Against Deportations” and “Walmart (sic) Solidarity.”  I guess they tend to the illegal aliens with allegedly low-paying jobs who can’t afford a car.  So, as you can see, they are economic bottom-feeders along the line of $hakedown $harpton who are pimping poor folks as their constituency. You see, not that long ago this and similar groups were making all kinds of noise about a “living wage.”  (Translation: “Living wage” = “Company to pay someone far more than their skill set is valued or the demands of employment.”)  They wanted Wal-Mart to pay the employees a wage higher than minimum or prevailing.

Mind you, less than one-half of one percent of Wal-Mart employees are paid minimum wage.  That is lower than the national average.

But, despite all the advantages that Wal-Mart offers (promotion, training, etc., etc.), the do-gooders are more than happy to bankrupt a company like Wal-Mart to make a point.

(Wal-Mart employs 2,100,000 people worldwide, 1,400,000 in the United States alone.  That is approximately one-percent of the total United States work force.)

The same people that would be thrilled to close the entire Wal-Mart chain to make a point are now demanding that they keep one shop open so a few hundred people do not lose their jobs.

Huh?

If that makes sense to you, please let me know.

You see, this is one more example of the Liberal Theology. “I don’t know what I want but I do know what I don’t want.  Unless I change my mind.”

Just like Mario Cuomo who professed to be “Pro-Life” and ran as such until he could not get elected was quick to change his opinion/sell his soul to the devil to get elected and became “Pro-Abortion.”

You are known by your actions and if your words contradict your actions, your words are not worth much.

He could say he was “Pro-Life” all he wanted, he could even believe in his heart of hearts that life was sacred.  But the moment he said that women had the right to choose, despite any personal misgivings, THAT became his position. Especially as he was an elected official.

“I think adultery is bad!” said the man leaving the motel with a hooker.  What do YOU think his true feelings are?  Almost like the old joke when asked about the difference between adultery and fornication, the buxom beauty said “I dunno, I tried them both. They feel the same to me.” You can delude yourself to say what you want to think you believe but your actions will define you.

Throw in John “WTLF” Kerry into the mix.  “I was for XXXX before I was against it!”  It takes a special, gifted kind of idjit to make that kind of statement and a truly special, gifted kind of idjit to accept that as a plausible answer.

Add in Nasty Pelosi and her famous “We have to vote for the bill  to see what is in it!” talking about the OBAMA’S OBAMACARE scam.

Look, Forest Chump, a bill is NOT a box of chocolates. You KNEW what was in that bill before most anyone else.  So, you lied overtly and by omission.  Yet, her pinions keep re-electing the Wicked Witch of the West.

“We must show our enemies empathy and treat them with respect” bloviated the Wicked Witch of the East, the Benghazi Babe herself, the Hilderbeast.

Really, all I can say is “WHAT?” after I get my chin off of the floor and my head stops shaking.

Is anyone really that stupid to say that and mentally deficient to believe that?  Really? REALLY??

Now, don’t misunderestimate me.  The Republicans have plenty of idjits and pinions to go around.  All but about two dozen voted for Smoking Johnny Pelosi to mis-lead the House. I am confident that Earl McCornbread is equally up to the “task” as Senate Majority Leader. God Help us!

Now throw in a RINO du Jour, such as John McLame.  This Democrat in Republican clothing is orchestrating a purge of Tea Party folks in the Arizona Republican Party.  He has also intimated that the Tea Party is un-American and in one not-wholly substantiated utterance suggested they should be locked up and tried for treason.

Oddly enough there was a town hall meeting held by John McLame and someone made a long and impassioned speech suggesting that McLame might be the traitor.

(Not oddly enough, the “right wing” blogs call the chap a “Marine” or “concerned citizen” while the “left wing” blogs refer to him as a “conspiracy theorist nut” and “Tea Party nut job.”  And in a very telling manner, one calls him “Mr. Absurdly Large Arms” apparently unaware that time in the Military might have that effect on some people.  Prolly much the same way so many on the left are effeminate.  Not judgin’, just observin’.  Feel free to prove me wrong.)

McLame is not the first to call for the arrests of people who disagree with him.  Robert F. Kennedy has the same feelings about those who disagree with his environmental views.  Meanwhile this chap who professes to be an ardent supporter of “wind energy” sued to prevent windmills sullying the view from the compound in Hyannisport.

So, what is the takeaway from all this?

Other than the obvious the neither side have a lock on stupidity and diseased thinking it seems that the Libs have made it their raison d’etre to make everybody as uncomfortable as possible.

It has been proved again and again that Liberalism is a mental illness.  Why else would you want to make your life and that of others as a Sisyphean task?

The problem is that it seems to be not just endemic of the party of slavery (unabashed subliminal advertising) but now it is contagious and spreading to the Republicans.

In all fairness, I do not blame the cowardly and feckless Republicans for acting as they do.  They deal with the evilness and machination of the party of entitlements on a daily basis.  After all, how long did it take for Sen. Schemer to turn Marco Rubio to vote for the illegal immigration bill?  (ANSWER: Not long at all.)

As soon as that vote was over, it was status quo ante and the Libs threw Rubio to the curb.  (You hardly ever see a caricature of him without a water bottle.  A not so subtle dig.)

But the real culprits, the real creatchures, the real villains are the peeps who keep voting for the RINOS. And, yes, at times even your own Precious is guilty of this.

I am not sure who said it but there is a phrase that oh, so appropriate. “What which you allow will continue.”  And the longer we allow RINOS to hold office the longer they will continues to inure there.

And like any unchecked disease, it will only grow and fester…

Mario Cuomo passed away.

Other than to his immediate family, it is not a great tragedy.  The real tragedy is what he did while he was living.

I may seem cold and hard about this.  And perhaps I am.  Yes, I did say a prayer for him and for the repose of his soul. I am not that cruel and heartless.  But that said, he was one of the old “Liberal Lions” as he has been called and has been compared to St. Tedward, the Patron Saint of Drunk Drivers.

I posit that is was not a “Liberal Lion” like Tedward or any of the old guard but more like the current crop, a “Lyin’ Liberal.”

“But, Precious, this is back to being THE Fish, I thought this was the kinder, gentler side of you.”

It is and it is.

You see, there are two things which really bother me, two traits in a person which will really set me off. One is a failure to love God and Country and the other is hypocrisy.

Sadly, most Libs are guilty of both and sadder still, more and more “Republicans” are joining in the fun.  (John McLame, check him out.)

You see, there is 20/20 hindsight when it comes to the lives of many public figures when they have passed. Or, perhaps, it is selective amnesia.

No matter how bad, evil, dishonest or whatever a public figure may have been when drawing a breath, the obits and the eulogies are full of praise for this “great man/woman who….”

Who did what that was good?  We will never know.

Cuomo was no exception.  Except that he was an enigma in some sense of the word.

You see, he is called a great man, a compassionate man, a brilliant man, a great family man and so on.  And, you know, I agree with almost all of that.

Say what you will, he had a social consciousness and despite everything else, he did remain true to that once he made up his mind.  He instilled much of that into his kids, especially the current Governor of New York who allegedly as the “liberal compassion” of his father but not anywhere near his brains, charm or sense.

He was married to the same woman for sixty years.  There was never any talk, as far as I know, of any Clintonian-type scandals.  His most grievous public sins were prolly related to his race for NYC mayor against the eventual victor, Ed Koch. (I will not sully this page, or Hizonner’s memory, by the comments and campaign tactics used by the Cuomo campaign against Ed Koch.)

When you read of his “accomplishments” as governor, they are rather plain and mundane. In fact, from what I can gather all the good that happened in this state during his tenure was of the financial sort and education.  Not bad but that is his job.

Quite frankly there was nothing new or earthshaking that he did or started on his own and most everything of a positive (and to be fair, negative) outcome was mostly due to the State Assembly and Senate.

He is prolly best known on a national level for his keynote address at the 1984 Democrat Convention when Whatshisname was nominated and subsequently destroyed by The Gipper.

It was a “brilliant speech!” It was “galvanizing!”  He said “nothing!” But, proof positive that Libs like style over substance, and love platitudes and that was a great orator and could move a crowd.

So could Hitler.

(And no, I am not comparing the two in any other way but in oratory. His son, on the other hand…)

Cuomo’s speech was largely rhetoric, prose and a recrap of the history of the Dem Party in recent history. Not one word about ideas or plans other than whatever Reagan did was bad.

(Then Gov. Bill Clinton met then Gov. of Colorado Dick Lamm at the convention and asked him what he thought of the speech. Lamm replied: “Terrific! It galvanized the crowd!”  Clinton said: “C’mon, what did it really say about the issues we are trying to raise?” And perhaps the last time that a Dem was 100% completely honest when asked such a question, Lamm replied: “Nothing. Cuomo, Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, same speech. Passionate statements about what we used to be.  We weren’t ready to face the issues of the future, so we celebrated the past”)

So far, his curriculum vitae is not exactly overflowing with kinds of things which will gain one admittance to the pantheon of the greats.

Many of you are waiting for the other shoe to drop.  In other words what really bothers me about this guy, dead or alive.

Many of you will be upset, many of you won’t care and some of you will, I hope, agree with my position if not at least accept my premise.

Allow me a few moments to expatiate on this.

I do not doubt, or will not doubt, that he loved God and Country.  That leaves the other thing which chaps my hide and that is hypocrisy.

You see, one of the reasons he lost the mayoral race was because he was against the death penalty (and things were pretty bad back in NY in those days.)

He could not see the value of taking a human life, even an eye for an eye. (Which I know is Old Testament and not in the New.)  OK, I give him that. And at first, he was consistent in that he was Pro-Life.

Then he got his butt kicked in two elections by those who were more liberal than he. And as if by magic, almost overnight he was “publically” and “politically” pro-abortion.

Yes, for some reason “all of a sudden”, he still could not see the reason to take the life of someone who had committed serious, heinous and brutal crimes, but was OK in killing an innocent baby.

(Yes, I am on a soap box, but it is my opinion and you have the right and duty to disagree.)

Now, of course, virtually ALL Liberals are against the death penalty, largely for the wrong reasons, and the same plurality will claim to support “a woman’s right to choose” or “woman’s health.”

(I am not going to rehash any of this by stating the woman already chose once when she had relations and that over half of the aborted babies would have grown up to be women.)

And prolly by the same margins, those supporting abortion will “claim” that they are “personally against it” and want it to be “safe and rare” and other bits of bravo sierra.

(Do we have to list the people in gummint who have some interest, financial or otherwise, in the abortion industry?  From actually having ownership of some degree in a company what commits them to a cozy relationship with the industry in the sense of campaign contributions from “Planned Parenthood” and the like.)

But Cuomo took that to a whole ‘nother level.

Cuomo was, by all accounts, a “devout” catholic. (I am using small “c” for reasons which will become obvious in a moment.)  He publicly, professionally and politically supported abortion but was “personally” against it.

THAT, my dear friends, is the quintessential definition of a hypocrite. (And, IMHOBVAO, deserving of the small “c.”)

Few, if any of us, could hold those same views and have as much impact on others as does someone in power, such as a governor.  You see, if YOU say “While I am morally opposed to abortion, I respect the right of the woman to make that decision” it carries little or no weight.  But a governor or, member of Congress or a President says that, then that is a different matter.

I am not judging mind you, yes it sounds as such, but I am not.  We all sin and no one’s sins are more pleasing to God than another’s.  But we don’t go around saying “I am personally against theft, but it is your right to steal if you wish.”  Hello? Now, where is the difference?

We are on this planet for but a short time and eternity, well, that is a lot longer.  I would far rather have to answer to any civil power that to God Almighty for any infractions.

That is why I am even writing this essay on Cuomo.   He was nothing special as a governor or, truly, any more special than anyone of us. But he was the governor and he “chose” to live with the dichotomy of trying to please voters because his belief in the Church of Liberalism and his deep and fervent belief in God as a catholic.

I just don’t get it.

He even went to Notre Dame University to give a speech to the assembled masses where he made the argument that abortion was a good thing.  That was thirty years ago.  Of course since then the college invited Biff to speak, so you know they have gone fully left.

Yes, the catholic governor of the fifth most Catholic state went to a Catholic college to speak on support for abortion.

And what did he get for his troubles? Almost excommunicated.

John Cardinal O’Connor said that he did not think Cuomo was evil, just wrong.

I take it a step further.  I do not want to think he was evil, but he was wrong and he was a Liberal who pandered for votes.  After all, he was staunchly Pro-Life until he got his butt kicked in two elections by those who were more liberal than he.

I do so hope I am wrong, but Mario sounds like he made a modern day Faustian Pact with the devil.

I am reminded of Matthew 16:26 or Mark 8:36.

I hope he made his peace with God before he passed.

I hope other Liberals would learn something from his life.

Again, I am not judging, I am just sad for someone who could have made a bigger difference in this world, perhaps, had he not sold out.

But, are not the Libs the party of the short cut? Of avoiding the heavy lifting?

I was Joe’s Drill Sergeant when he went through 12B OSUT at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He stood out, even as Private Brazzle, as a man who understood leadership, dedication, perseverance, honesty, and selfless service.

After completing training Joe was assigned to Fort Hood, TX; and I completed my time as a Drill Sergeant and then did a year in Korea. Rockets, mortars, small arms fire…we were there together, and although I know he was just as afraid as any other sane human being, I never saw him flinch in the face of danger. As a Soldier he was a professional, and he continues to display all of those characteristics in his new life “after the army”.

Tammy and I are also the God Parents to his two beautiful daughters.

On August 17th, 2007 I had just been reassigned to HHD, 20th EN BDE, pending my attendance to USASMA. I was at home, grilling a steak on my back porch and I decided to call Brazz because I knew he was sweating his ass off at the demo range (Range 47). I wasn’t expecting an answer because they were on the range so I left a voice mail where I told him that while he was sweating his ass off on the range, I was drinking a beer and grilling a steak. I remember closing the message with, “Call me back when you get home; love you man”.

I had no idea that the next time I would see him he would be hooked up to machines that were keeping him alive.

Within 10 minutes of leaving him that voice mail message my phone rang and it was one of the other Soldiers from my old company. This Soldier was at the demo range and witnessed the accident that injured Brazz and the other Soldiers. He told me that the MEDEVAC had been called and although alive, Joe was not doing well.

I got a hold of Samantha (Joe’s beautiful wife) and while Tammy watched his daughter Rhea at our home, I drove Sam to the hospital in Chapel Hill.

This book is not only a story of his personal spiritual recovery, but a lessons-learned to all of us who have faced adversity or hardships in life.

The book talks about accepting yourself, forgiving others, being proactive and so much more. In short; you do not have to be a wounded warrior to learn something from this book. We can all learn something from it

My Friends and Fellow Mystified:

Some years ago, I managed a large stereo shop on Sunset Blvd in Hollyweird.  Yes, it was long and far ago and it was as weird as one could imagine.

The employees were, shall we say, “characters”, to be charitable.  I will not go into any of their personalities, foibles, proclivities, addictions and predilections but suffice it to say anything you can imagine can and did happen there.  (I lived it and I don’t believe half of what I saw!)

But that is not critical but for one person.

There was a salesman, we shall call him “Desmond” but that was not his real name. In fact, or reasons what will become abundantly obvious in a moment, there is no reason to remember him.

“Desmond” was a PITA, universally disliked and barely tolerated by the crew, from the stock guy to yours truly, El Jefe Grande. In fact, he was treated, for the greater part and deservedly so, like a red-headed step child, like a rented mule.  Yes, his abuse was well-earned and self-created.

One day a customer came in. Not his first time into the shop.  He prolly knew the high esteem with which “Desmond” was not held.  In the middle of some kind of sales presentation the customer called “Desmond” an a**h***. And, to be fair, “Desmond” prolly earned it.

With that, “Peter” (I shall call him Peter as I think that was his name) flew over a railing and got between “Desmond” and the perspicacious customer.  (Peter shared a home with another guy who also worked for me.  They were characters.  They lived in the sticks on the other side of the Hollywood Hills on the way to Ventura.  Kinda looked like the set of “The Rifleman.”  May have been.  They looked like extras from “Zero Dark Thirty” or “Sole Survivor.”)

Peter got up in the customers grille and basically told him not to call “Desmond” an A-H or any name.

As mentioned, the customer knew the drill with “Desmond” and did not see the error in calling him a name.  That was the point he tried to make to Peter, as he was sizing up the customer deciding which limb to rip off first.

Peter laser focused right into the customer’s eyes and said “’Desmond’ might be an A-H, but he is OUR A-H and you have no right to call him that. Now apologize to him and leave.”
It is a pretty well-known fact that Biff is not held in the highest regard by those who have read the Constitution and/or who hold jobs and pay taxes.  Sure, the Entitlecrats love the heck out of him.  But it is we they ought to love as it is the sweat of our brows that are paying their freight!

I mean, if Biff signed an Executive Order seceding Hawaii from the Nation and declaring himself King of Hawaii, or Dictator or Queen for a Day or whatever and decided to stay there forever, I am pretty sure that few would shed a tear and more than a few would be willing to chip in a few bucks every year to make sure he stayed there.

A boy can dream, can’t he?

But until he leaves elected office, he is still the president. (If he decides to overstay his welcome, which I posit is a real possibility, then all bets are off.)

For what it is worth, irrespective of my feelings for Biff, I take great umbrage when a possibly inbred mentally deficient, cold-blooded killer of the most oppressive regime on Earth refers to Biff as a monkey.  Not once but twice in the past few months. (I am referring of course to Vallery Ja… er I mean Kim Jong-Un.)

Yes, Biff may be a despicable creature and all the accoutrements which come with that sobriquet but like “Desmond”, he is OUR despicable creature and some adipose poor excuse for a lesbian-wedding-suit-model had no right to call him any name.  (Not judgin’, just sayin’.)

The idea of threatening to bomb them would only result in billions of dollars of improvements.  Not for anything but if you ever saw a picture of the world at night, you will see lights all over American, much of Canada, Europe and so forth.  The only inhabited land on the face of the planet which is as dark as the Hilderbeast’s soul is North Korea.

(That is a little unfair.  Virtually ANY Liberal, Progressive, Socialist, Marxist or Communist’s name could be used in place of the Hilderbeast.)

Apparently Kim Jong-Un is a supreme “leader” of some 4^th world nation.  You would think that he and Biff would be kindred spirits.  After all, it seems like Biff’s plan is to make the US as prosperous as is North Korea.

North Korea’s top enterprises appear to be prison camps and sitting the dark.  Little known fact, ANYONE can be sentenced to a prison camp.  From what I gather no one gets out alive.  (And, if some poor child is born in a prison camp, said child will eventually die in the prison camp.  Even a poor baby born there, free of any crime, will spend their life on Earth in a gulag.  [Stedman is taking notes.])

I am sure Biff would like some hints from Un on how to accomplish this.

Then add to the mix, the Un had his “girlfriend” executed for “pornography.”  I am a little nervous to know what passes for smut in the DPRK.  Yet, they see Dennis “The Worm” Rodman as some kind of hero.

Starting to make sense now?

The good news is that it is unlikely that Biff will declare war on DPRK.  Un is a bigger bully than is Biff and when out-bullied, a weaker bully will always back down. And, after all, what do we have to lose by just backing down by doing nothing?

I mean, they do not produce any goods, services or anything of use, much like the Democrat National Committee. And they are not storming our borders with future undocumented Democrat voters. So, they bring nothing to the table.

But I will leave you with this.

I was watching a year in review show the other night and it was fascinating in two respects, three if you count the obvious.

What I noticed was that there was crisis after crisis all year long and each and every one of them disappeared as quickly and mysteriously as they appeared. For example, Ebola came to our Country. One of the most deadly and contagious diseases in earth.  (Not the most contagious but close enough for jazz.)  Biff this, Biff that and as quick as it arrived and every one had their knickers in a knot, poof, the scare was over.

And nothing more to it, unless it was a dry run of some sort or that it was yet another distraction.

The other thing was one of omission.  Despite all the brouhaha about this and that, there was ZERO talk about the IRS cases of targeting certain groups, of the testimony of Lerner and others as they “allegedly” perjured themselves, of the Benghazi hearings, or the VA SNAFUs, the trade for the deserter Bergdahl and what happened to the high value targets we gave up, of that loose cannon Gruber blowing the lid off the lie that is OBAMA’s OBAMACARE and more.

Then again, that brings us to the third: That being the complicity of the SRMFM. After all why would they talk about IRS, OBAMACARE, Benghazi and more when the contrived, and manufactured in many cases, crises only purpose was to distract from them?

(I believe it was George Orwell who said: “Journalism is printing what someone does not want printed: everything else is public relations.”)

So, when Kim Jung Un calls Biff a “monkey”, what is the rest of the story? And is this not just another distraction.

And again, Biff may be a lot of things, few if any worth a hoot, but it is not for some tin-horn dictator of some 4^th world country to call him any names. (I guess there are no mirrors in your worker’s paradise, eh, Un?) Biff may not much or less but he is OUR not much or less.  Please make a note of it.

My Friends and Fellow Book Lovers:

If I did something wrong, or something for which I was embarrassed or just did not want to reveal for whatever reason, or might be complicit in crimes, let’s say, or maybe misrepresented myself or actions, for instance, one of the very LAST things I would do is to write a book about these mistakes, missteps, misspeaks and misrepresentations.

But, if I was foolish enough to do such a thing, I would be 100% sure I had a back story ready to cover my butt.  I certainly would not allow any of the more egregious, er, “errors” to be challenged without having a rock-solid defense in place.

To prove that she has no regard for our Country or citizens, to amplify on the fact that she is tone-deaf and reliant on the SRM to cover her prodigious posterior as a cripple is on a crutch, our Pantsuited Princess, Her Thighness, Hillaroo herself has “written” a book.

Maybe.  Did she really write it?  Don’t ask her if you want a straight answer.  (And don’t get catty over my using the word “straight” as a descriptive for her.  We have no idea if any of those allegations are really true.)

That said, Hillaroo has a book out which she ostensibly wrote.  Quite frankly just this one little part of this FISH will speak volumes.

You see, the book is ironically called “Hard Choices.”  (No Lewinski jokes, please!)  Prior to 2009 the all- time worst president was the anti-Semite and hand-picked post-turtle Jimmah Q’arter.  He had as his first secretary of state one Cyrus Vance and he wrote a tome of his memoirs curiously called “Hard Choices.”

Fast forward over three decades and there is the new world champion worst president (and unlike Barry Bonds breaking Hank Aaron’s record there is zero evidence this guy is using any “performance enhancing drugs.”)  He, too, is an anti-Semitic hand-picked post-turtle. His first secretary of state was one Hillaroo and she “wrote” a tome of her memoirs curiously called “Hard Choices.”

For some reason Hillaroo picked a name for her book that is something like 285,000^th on the Amazon best sellers list.  Considering her alleged duplicity and lack of shame, it is surprising that she would pick the name of a book so far down on the list.   I was shocked that she did not call it something to reflect the best-selling book of all time and putting her spin or fingerprints on it.  Like “The Bible, According to Hillaroo” or “A Tale of Two Cities Baseball Teams that Hillaroo Likes” or the rest.

(I s’pose when you let VP JoeBama pick the name for something it might not be as, er, “original” as one might expect.)

I am not saying the book is selling poorly, just because it is slightly behind “Wave-Particle Duality for Dummies” and the braille version of “The Do-It-Yourself Vasectomy” books.

But, there are only two types or people who are buying this book, those who think Hillaroo is swell or those who are forced to own the book, typically for decoration purposes only.

It is apparent that the reviewers did not read the book, based on their reviews as it is equally apparent by her interviews that maybe Her Thighness not only did not write it but perhaps did not read it either.

Evidenced by the fact that she has given all of her interviews to “friendlies”, which means anyone in the SRM except FOX and talk radio.  However, she was schooled by Terry Gross from NPR who she suspected would be a fellow-traveller.

And if you saw the Diane Sawyer paean then you know a fix is in. If you missed it, it would seem that Sawyer was vetted as to the questions and that she could ask, and that was if not given the questions had been provided to her to begin with.  The most egregious part was not even so much the soft-ball questions but no follow up.

Her Thighness sat there like Jabba the Hut after letting John “WTLF” Kerry practice his botox injections on her.  Half the time there was no eye contact or true engagement from either side.  Almost like it was done on the phone whilst getting their nails done.

“So, that was something when you landed in Bosnia under heavy enemy fire!  You must have feared for your life!”

“It was something Diane.”

“So, tell me, what is your favorite shade of blue?  We are all dying to know!”

Yup, it was that king of probing questions which were asked.  And speaking of dying:

“Madame Secretary, tell me minute by minute what you were going when four Americans were being tortured, slaughtered and dismembered in Benghazi.”

“I was doing the best I could each and every moment.”

“Wow!  You are quite a woman!   Tell us, if you can, what are your preferred pizza toppings?”

Meaning while of Hillaroo seemed any more detached, she would have been in a coma.

But it did not stop there.

Short of saying that she was born a poor, black boy of sharecropper parents, she did say the next closest thing: she said they were dirt poor when they left the Wh’ite House, or in their cases, the scene of the crimes.

Yes, the poor baby, they were broke!  They did not have a pot to, well, you know what poor people without indoor plumbing do in a pot.  They had to buy a new home and they had legal bills!

I am not sure how many other ex-Presidents had lived in public housing (WH, Governor’s Mansion) for so long that that did not own their own home.  Heck, even Biff has a crib in Barackistan.  Sure, it may not have been actually purchased by him but he owns one!

So, the po po po “Capitol Hillbillies”, the Clinton’s had to scrape by on BJs meager $210,700 presidential pension and whatever governor’s pension he had coming in and Hillaroo’s $174,000 Senate salary and whatever she makes in taking in laundry and collecting bottle deposits.

(And though, for some strange reason the stories have morphed or disappeared over time but “allegedly” while the secret service did not pay for the house in Chappaqua, they did extensive renovations and security measures to the home at no cost to them.)

Of course, we are also neglecting the huge book deals this pair got with millions up front and speaking engagement fees a multiple times what the average American earns in a YEAR for EACH of their speeches.

So, spare me the “I had to walk uphill, in the snow, every day, both ways to school all throughout grammar and high schools as well as college!” bovine scatology.

Let’s assume they were low on funds when they bought the house in Chappaqua so she would have a place to store her carpet bag when she ran for Senator.  Let’s assume this is somewhere within yelling distance of the truth.

If that was the case, why did they pay almost $3,000,000 for a home in Washington, DC shortly after that?

Simple, because like almost everything else in their lives it is a scam, a lie, a canard, a front, an artifice and really nothing close to reality.

Truly these two deserve each other, who else would put up with the antics of the other?

But even so, with book sales this side of “meh” there is possibly more truth on a book of matches than in the entire 656 pages of her latest tour de farce.  (I am sure they missed counting about 10 pages.)

She flips flops again on gay “marriage” as she was once very against it and her hubby actually signed DOMA into law, now, she is all for it, things change, evolve, if you will.

(Funny, I did not get an updated version of the Decalogue on this matter.)

The truly sad thing is that anyone with a scintilla of intellectual honesty knows that she is not to be trusted, and that assessment goes back to her betters when she was prosecuting Nixon.  Anyone who has watched her for .30 seconds knows she is unfamiliar with being honest and forthcoming.  Otherwise why does she spend so much time and capital rewriting her history?

(And you would think that of you were going to write a near 666 page long book that you would not include anything that makes you look stupid, wrong, criminal or anything else and that you would also have every possible interview question covered so that you are not caught flat-footed with your knickers in a knot.)

And there are those who still thing she is the greatest thing in the world.

Why?

I dunno?

Her great job in the Senate? Er, something like two of her bills became law.  And she was arguably among the worst Sec States in history, but that is not all her fault.  Biff has an ability to spot talent then the same ability to pick someone else.

She brings nothing to the table except her gender and one other thing, which we will get to in a second.  The idea that she is not as bad as Biff is a lie as she is far more cunning and astute then the current resident.  If there is anything left of America and if there actually are elections and peradventure she won, there would be nothing left after her.

The only peeps who would vote for her are the same ones who voted for Biff.  They are afraid if a REAL American was elected and undid what did Biff, turned over the stones and exposed his, er, activities and so on that they would look stupid.

Sorry for not feeling sympathetic that I allow the Country to go down the crapper to allow someone to save face.

So, you will have to get used to being called  a “sexist” rather than a “racist” should Her Thighness get the nod.

Oh, that “one other thing.”  Yeah, when she was a “lawyer” she allowed the rapist of a 12 year old go get off with two months of time served.  She knew he was guilty (which makes no difference, one is still entitled to representation) but she even bent the rules to allow a guilty guy walk… and laughed about it.

My Friends and Fellow Amendment Counters:

The other day, some Liberal had a letter printed by the fellow-travelers at NEWSDAY.  Truly, one would think that this expanded Pennysaver would have the intellectual honesty not to simply print lies or promote a particular agenda. (That is a joke, folks.)

Yes, letters to the editor are supposed to reflect the opinions of the populace.  That said they are not supposed to incite violence, promote crime, suggest artifice, carry the editor’s water or blatantly lie.  I mean it is not like one of Biff’s press conferences or briefing by Sideshow Carney and his successors.

To follow is the letter of a cogently-limited individual followed by my expected response, if I may be so bold.  He starts off on one track and then shifts gears to another, seemingly unrelated argument that wanders around common sense and some valid points and winds up with a reasonable partial conclusion.  But, he ties up is argument with the “cream filling” part of this particular Oreo rather than his initial top chocolate cookie salvo, which, IMHBVAO, is his real point.  He amplifies on the initial postulation too much for it to be a mere supporting point.

I tried to post my response to the letter on line, but it appears that I am on some kind of a lag.  (By the time I can see the letter on line, the time to comment has closed.  I am sure it is just a glitch…)

As I canNOT post this on line and the likelihood of this being printed is about the same as alleged AG Stedman investigating and then pressing charges against himself or Her Thighness running for prez wearing “Daisy Dukes” and a tube top at every event….sorry, but you get the point… so, your humble narrator will share with you, dear reader.

(It is not just the letter alone which tweaked me to pontificate suchly.  It is the same bovine scatology of a baseless argument making unfounded assumptions and forgetting to connect the additional, but critical, dots that we hear again and again.)

Without further ado, I present the argument:

“I cannot imagine why any responsible gun owner would object to strict legislation governing the registration, licensing and method of sale of all firearms, and an outright ban on assault weapons [“Deadly spree in California,” News, May 25]. Those most familiar with firearms are acutely aware of their destructive power and should be leading the effort to keep them out of the wrong hands. It is common sense, and a small sacrifice by the few to preserve the safety and well-being of the many.

“Unfortunately, the common sense and logic of gun control is not an absolute solution to the slaughter so recently visited upon our nation. The Elliot Rodgers (sic) among us are unique and defy common sense and logic. They demonstrate aberrant behavior from time to time; however, they lack criminal records and carry the shield of medical nondisclosure. All of this prevents the scrutiny necessary to uncover the evidence of their cunning and deadly agendas. If guns became unavailable, they would navigate a different, possibly more heinous path.

“Focusing on gun control is very good; identifying and securing the would-be perpetrator first is much better.”

And now, one of my Magnus Opera in rebuttal:

I wonder how people would react if someone wrote a similar letter as the anti-gun letter of Tuesday.

Imagine:  “I cannot imagine why any responsible speaker would object to the strict legislation governing the use of all words and an outright ban on anything that is not pro-administration.  Those most familiar with words are aware of their destructive power.  It is common sense and a small sacrifice by the few to preserve the safety of the many.”

I do not think that there are any among us who would agree to such concept! After all, most would complain, we are guaranteed Freedom of Speech in the 1st Amendment!

And we are guaranteed the right to bear arms in the 2nd!

What difference does it make if we rip up one little pesky Amendment?  I will tell you, once they rip up one, they will rip up them all.

This writer could not possibly be more wrong in almost every case.  Ignoring the fact that he ignores the Constitution, espouses a thought process directly out of the Communist Manifesto, he conveniently ignores other facts.

While Rodgers did in fact use a gun in his slaughter, he also used a knife and a car.  Should we ban those as well or just the things about which most people are ignorant or unfamiliar?

It is difficult to argue, however, with the allegation that mental illness is one of the common links in these random, senseless murders. But it is society that created many of these monsters by “trying” to “help”, after all they are “humans.”  Until they kill.  How many of these senseless slaughters could have been avoided if not just early identification of mental illness but the proper corrective steps had been taken?

Lastly, I said “one of the common links.”  Take a look at the mass and random murders over the past dozen years or so.  The other commonality?  They virtually were all Liberal, Left Wing or Left-Leaning folks.

Please, make a note of that.

Every once in a while, the Left does something so egregious that you really can’t believe your eyes and ears.  It is almost as if Spokesweasel Sideshow Carey got up and said “As we all know and we have covered this before the president has ordered the Sun to rise in the west so he does not get morning glare in his beautiful eyes.”

While Spokesweasel Sideshow Carney has said things equally as, er, stupid and insulting as that, generally we know he is on the grift and not to be taken seriously.

But not so much so with Bergdahl.

This is a marketing scheme.  While I am not at liberty to disclose all the info I have or the sources, suffice it to say that Biff & Co have been very interested in getting this clown back for some time now.

There is no one in the Maladministration, their payroll, their hired shills and the SRM (but I repeat myself) who is calling Bergdahl anything but a “POW.”

McCain was a POW, Robbie Risner was a POW, James Stockdale was a POW, Jeremiah Denton, who blinked T-O-R-T-U-R-E was a POW, and so on.

Eddie Slovak was a deserter.  And in 1945, he was the last American shot by firing squad for his crime.   And HE did not throw in with the enemy!

While I am not saying he should be shot, I am saying he is not a POW.

Of course, that does not stop the victims of some odd mental disease from the State Department and other places from claiming that that Bergdahl was a “POW.”

Of course, they make such pronouncements and allegations without one scintilla of truth or soupcon of fact.  A lie here, some invective here and they are weaving a tapestry of lies in support of Bergdahl.

The NEW YORK TIMES have made this their crusade, to show they love the troops, always have, always will.  (Oh, wait, no they don’t they have hated the military since before Biff was born.  [He started the following day.]  Recall the TIMES publisher, Pinch Sulzberger, who answered that if he had a choice between shooting a Viet Cong or a US soldier, he would shoot the US soldier.)

They are “swift-boating” those in Bergdahl’s platoon.  For some reason, The TIMES have all kinds of “information” about the guys in Bergdahl’s platoon.  Some are said to have had less than stellar civilian or military records, or so we are told and are led to believe.  They are being branded as psychopaths and having a grudge against their “blue falcon.”

But from where is that information coming?  The most logical place is that it came from interviews with the gentlemen in said platoon, right?

Er, except for one thing.

Everyone in Bergdahl’s unit signed a SF312 form.

What is that, you ask?  Well I had to look it up as well.  It is a Non-Disclosure Agreement.  Basically, NDA’s are usually demanded in sensitive mission situations or where high security clearances are needed.

So, my little question is if those who served with Bergdahl’s are prohibited from discussing certain elements of the period of time when he was on base until he did a flyer and thusfar no one who has served with him had anything good to say about him, then where is all this info coming from about his peers.

(And for what it is worth, not everyone in the military are angels, nor in any other job.  I find it, er, “curious” that the guys who, to a man, called him a deserter and questioned a lot more about him but are not allowed to be quoted or discuss all of a sudden seem to be a treasure trove of disseminating classified information, or at the very least, breaking the terms of the NDA.  And besides, if they were as bad as they are being portrayed, they would have all been Article 15’d out.)

No, sir, it is a con, a grift and lies like everything else from this cabal.  I can see some senior State dude saying:  “Look, we have these guys gagged, we can say anything and if they complain we can say they are traitors for divulging secrets.”

“How can they get away with this?” you ask, or should.

Good question. For openers this immoral group, in addition to things like dignity, honesty, patriotism, truthfulness and so on are also void in the valor department.

Let’s put that in perspective.

Susan Rice, whose only purpose is to have the least amount of credibility in the entire world since Benghazi, did it again.  This festering pile of otter droppings had the temerity to say that the deserter Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction.”

This horrible shrew would not know “honor” or “distinction” if she was hit abeam on her copious hindquarters.

Did anyone tell this idiot (apologies to idiots) that this deserter spent most of his time in “service” as a deserter?  He has no more honor or distinction than I have herds of unicorns or boxes of rainbows.

I almost want to give her a pass but instead I need to crucify someone.  Given that this witch unfamiliar with the truth, that she is a loose cannon in the sense she has no idea about what she says.  Her handlers are just as bad, they have no honor, no distinction, no sense of service and no military service.

Take a look around. If you ever wanted to see the greatest amalgam of tools for flag officers, you got it.  Are there any people in the Maladministration who have any military service?

In the last eighty years only three presidents did not serve in the military:  FDR, BJ Clinton and Biff.

What else do they have in common?

Socialists and NWO types.

Makes ya proud, right?

There is no respect for the military in this Maladministration, none.  There is no sense of service, there is no sense of camaraderie.  There is no sense of inter-service rivalry.  They purged all the good Admirals and Generals, slowly but surely, over the years.  Now, you have tools and thugs who would sell their mother’s liver for another star.

So, when some applehead like Rice says anything about the military, she knows no better.  And she should be ignored.

But, as they say, ignorance of the law is no defense.

This onslaught of what a great guy Bergdorf is will not end.  The smearing of real heroes also will not end.  They will sell this bovine scatology until all the empty heads believe it then those who did serve with “honor and distinction” will be vilified and possibly sent to military prison where there are still a bunch of good guys who angravated Biff.

I need not remind you that Bergdahl’s appearance on the radar is anything but a co-inky-dink.

Bear in mind that this comes fresh on the heels of the VA scandal and Biff declaring war on coal.  (You don’t remember the coal speech?  See how good they are getting!)  They could have pulled this card any time they wanted.

What? You think this was a bing-bang-boom deal crafted by Biff and that is why he did not give Congress a legal thirty-day heads up?  Wanna buy some rainbow dust?

What you are seeing is not the end of “prisoners” in ‘Stan. What you are seeing is the first stage of the incremental evacuation of  GITMO in exchange of those to be kidnapped.

What you are seeing is the pimping of that &#$%&%$ Her Thighness.  (She hates Biff and Mooch, they hate her. But they are all on the same team and this was the deal what was brokered six years ago.) Some of you will recognize the above as the “Drake Equation.”  It has to do with the likelihood of there being other “intelligent” life in the solar system that we will be able to discover with radar, telescopes and other electrical signal detecting devices.

With a Saganesque “billions and billions” of stars in the universe, the probability that there are other life forms “similar” to humans is pretty high.  A lot?  No, but a few.   (This does not infer any attack on any belief, religious or scientific.)

But it is one of those equations that apropos of nothing that has given me pause for thought.  That and the bovine scatology masquerading as reporting and legal avenues.

The equation suggest that “N”, which is the number of detectible “civilizations” that may possible exist in the universe (or, multiverse, if you must) is the result of the rate of star formation in the universe multiplied by the fraction of those stars that may be surrounds by planets multiplied by average number of planets in a system that could possibly support life per star which  has planets multiplied by the fraction of planets which could possibly support life that actually do multiplied by the fraction of planets that actually do develop intelligent life multiplied by the fraction of civilizations that develop the technology needed to release electrical or other signs of their existence into space multiplied by the  length of time these civilizations release such signs into space.  (Simple, right?  LOL.)

In other words, not very many, Benny.

But, I posit, that the same model equation can be modified to express the reason why our Country is such a mess.

I will not bore you with the math but instead will bore you with some other facts and conjecture.

While it may be my own private Idaho, I ascribe many of the ills of the Country to the cessation of the Blue Laws.  As I have written too many times before, when the stores were closed on Sunday, families spent more time together.  Yes, there is more to it than that but that is the crux of the biscuit.

The greater conundrum occurs when it is patently obvious that poor parenting produces a fruit of spoiled rotten kids, such as that murderous bastiche Rodger out in Santa Barbara a few weeks back.

What has happened over the past few decades is that parents lost interest in parenting.  They were very interested in money, vacations, sex and all the other diversions that they were told to be important via television.

Kids became fixtures, or accoutrements, or nuisances or anything but the fruit of your loin.  In some cases it was intentional, in others it was visited upon you.

And while we are busy being bad parents all too many school systems were telling our kids we were even worse. They were instructed that premarital sex was expected, deviancy is the norm, we were founded by a cabal of slave owners and we are racist by nature. And the only hope this County has is for the youth to rise up and ignore their parents.

No matter how bad they are/were.

And to put the fix in, if some parent put his or her foot down all the kid had to do was complain and child protection services would be doing a proctologic exam on the parents.

And that is one of the reasons that the true nature of crimes is not being reported.

Take any newspaper or evening news.  Take note of the amount of crimes committed by juveniles.  Now, get a hold of the local police blotter.  How much more serious crime is NOT being reported?

Yep, and even more than that.

Now, look at the demographics of the perps.  Not just skin tone, you racist, but their income.

The poor White kid is going to get his 15 minutes of “fame” for a crime before the rich black kid.

The message here is that the only color that matters is green and if you do not have any, you are on your own.

Again, these are all things BETWEEN the lines. The SRM is not going to tell you to look for the anomalies or to read between the lines. They are going to tell you what you are supposed to be told.

(Much like the Bergdahl clusterfluke.  Public opinion has boomeranged against Biff and now there are apologies coming.  Meanwhile, we STILL have a Marine in Mexico but almost three dozen armed Mexican soldiers crossed our border.  Tell me, what kind of Kafkaesque world in which are we living?????????)

On an unrelated related note, hardly a week goes by that some restaurant chain announces that they are a now a “family friendly restaurant” and that means they are “gun free zones.”

Yup, you got that right, a “gun free zone.”  So, if you are allowed to carry, either by geography or permit, these restaurants have unilaterally abridged your 2nbd Amendment rights.

Yet, no one does anything about it.  Imagine if you went to Starbucks and they had a sign “In consideration for the feelings of our customers, there will be no criticism of the current administration.” (It is a trick question, Starbucks is anti-gun so there is no reason to go there.)

Let’s continue.   What happens when a place declares that they do not allow guns?  Anyone?  No…. they are not safer places.    You, over there, your opinion please.  Noooo… more people do not go there.  One more, yes, you in the ghillie suit… YES!  We have a winner!  That place gets robbed!

Connect the dots:  Liberal restaurant owners ban guns, liberal restaurants get held up by thugs with guns. Who do they blame?  LEGAL gun owners.  For some reason, they can’t see why it is their own fault.

Imagine if you put a note on your door that read: “NOTICE! I keep all of my money and jewels in the bottom right hand draw of my desk in the den.  DO NOT TOUCH!”

Imagine how thankful a burglar would be!

But are not the restaurants doing the exact same thing?  When the inevitable happens and they get robbed, they blame the White Hats.

I posted “So if you get robbed, who do you call?  A chef?”   That was deleted.  So I posted: “How many restaurants which have gone ‘gun free’ have been robbed?  When the cops come to collect the bodies, do you make them leave their guns outside?”  There were a few posts from “citizens” complaining that some restaurants had “no position” on lawful carrying.          I asked “how many of them have been robbed?” I am sure they are checking that out now.  BY ALL MEANS… go to that page and call them out on their anti-constitutional stance and cowardice.)

Under the category of “How We Got To This Point” allow me to posit the following.

When I was a kid, and I was not even anywhere near close to perfect (shock, I know) if I did anything wrong the last sound I heard before the pain set in was the sound of my dad’s belt coming through the loops on this pants.

I rarely made the same mistake twice but I did make quite a few once.  But, as I said, rarely twice. (Today, I prolly would have been diagnosed with some disorder and drugged up.)  For what it was worth and I assure you I resented him for it, I did learn and I came to realize that I deserved it.  Almost always.

As it says in Proverbs in the Bible “He who spares the rod, hates his child.”  Hates.  Yes, hates.  Because if you do not PROPERLY admonish your children, well, they are going to grow up with no self-respect, no respect for others or the law, will be overbearing and demanding and they will lash out more.  Yes, they become Liberals.   And in reality, these kids act up and act out as they do because all they want is their parent’s time and love.  But… nooooo!!!!!

So, don’t carry a gun and when you get held up in a gun free zone, blame someone else.  Don’t reprimand your child them be shocked that he takes drugs, commits crimes and the like.   And don’t forget to blame someone else.

Here is what I want to see: someone who runs for president who says “I am going to undo all the evil over the past eight years.  If anything goes wrong you can blame me. I promise you that I will not let you down.”  And I would expect them to mean it!
